Sotomayor – Huffington’s ‘10 Things’

Really? Why do we need to know that she’s diabetic? Why does her background matter if we’re all equal? Are these 10 things supposed to decide whether or not she’s qualified for the Supreme Court? If so, then #8 is completely out of line. The fact that she would be the first Hispanic female is not an acceptable reason to be for or against her appointment.
